Inept is a high energy rock band from Chicago Illinois. With passion, charisma, and dedication Inept has made a name in the midwest music scene, Playing Sold out shows in Chicago at Metro, House of Blues. Inept doesn't just stop in Chicago; they perform at The Quest (Minneapolis), The Rave(trapt tour)(Milwaukee), The Emerson theater (Indianapolis), Gabes Oasis (Iowa City), Mr Smalls (Pittsburgh PA), The Warehouse (lacrosse WI), CBGB's ( New York, New York), Pop's(st louis),The Rock (Omaha, NE) Sokol Underground/auditorium (Omaha, NE), The Creepy Crawl (St. Louis), The Bottom Lounge (chicago), and The Canopy Club (Urbana, Illinois) Copper Dragon (Carbondale) on a regular basis. Inept has even taken their music and live show all the way to the west coast, playing at Los Angeles' infamous Whisky A Go-Go. They have had the privilege of playing select shows on both the 2004 and 2005 Vans Warped Tour and Strhess Tour, alongside such bands as Story of the Year, Underoath, Yellowcard, Coheed and Cambria, Bad Religion, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, The Starting Line, and have performed/toured seperatley w/ Trapt, Blindside, Aphasia, Alter Bridge, Theory of a Dead Man, Quietdrive, Dropping Daylight, Lucky boys confusion, Strata, Ryan Dunn and Don vito (viva la bam), and Nonpoint. Inept was asked to open midwest dates on the 2005 Trapt/Blindside Tour and AlterBridge Tour. Inept receives air play on popular chicago stations wkqx(Q101) and wzzn (947 the zone) and all college radio stations in the chicago area. Inept also has upcoming dates on the 2006 Taste of Chaos Tour.
