SIGN OF THE FOX

Enter The Silent Fox… "Hi, I'm Johnny Knoxville, and tonight we have a treat for you: Four handsome friends of mine from Chicago. They're called Sign Of The Fox." And so started our explosive burst onto the scene, as our first-ever live show got underway, playing with the Phantom Planet guys at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, Feb. '03.

Beginnings…

Burdie and I wanted start up a band-we didn't know how or with who, but we were gonna do it. So we started writing and compiling tunes. Although I had played in various groups in L.A. over the years, I always was into making home 4-track albums and had experience recording some cool things with Burdie and Jack. Burdie, of course, had great experience from his previous rock-outfits, most notably the legendary L.A., punk-pop hit-machine, WAX. Jack was friends and roommates with Burdie and I (and therefore with Choco as well) over the past decade in Hollywood. Jack was always singing tunes around the house about lost-love and stuff. He never even wanted to be in a band. With countless hours of drumming experience under his belt and having finally moved to southern California after years of visiting and talking about it, no doubt Choc' was ready to rock.
